How to repair Pack Driver D2590 ,
stepping motor driver, motor won't start

My friend send me a Pack Driver DS2590, problem reported that motor won't start and error on system displayed that pack driver potentially getting problem.
Started with collecting pack driver data, but none of them found in Google. Only sales offer but no manual, no data sheet, no wiring, nothing at all.
According to traced incoming power to rectifier diode, I found that this driver need 100V power source. After applied 100V to driver, nothing happen. The only one LED on the board was off.
No DC power on most common logic IC such as 74xxx, not found 5Vdc on it.
After go trough I found that 5Vdc power supply circuit is getting problem.
IC10 MAX738ACWE
5Vdc generated from IC10, MAX738ACWE, if you have then just replace the faulty ones, unfortunately I have no stock for this type. According to data sheet of MAX738ACWE, the pins for input, output, and ground as follow :
1. Input : 1, 15, 16
2. Output : 9
3. Ground : 10, 11
Actual voltage measurement on pin 1 is 12Vdc. I take alternative for replaced this IC with dual voltage regulator, 7809 and 7805. It is more easy. So I removed IC10 MAX738ACWE ant let the place was blank.

The flow is pin 1 IC10 > pin 1 7809 > pin 3 7809 to pin 1 7805 > 5Vdc on pin 3 7805. I build them on small pcb and wired them with 3 cable.

Time to test, LED on board lit and 5Vdc is exactly that as I want. Unfortunately I can't test, anyway I pass to my friend for test on machine.He said pack driver is works fine after repaired and running as normal condition. Alhamdulillah, thanks Good.
